This Privacy Policy describes how PhotoMaxxing (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use photomaxxing.com (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Account information: name, email address, and (for reviewers) a display name, username, profile photo, and the prices they set.
- Customer order content: the photos you upload and any optional notes or prompt answers submitted with your order.
- Reviewer review content: verdicts, audio recordings, and written notes produced to fulfil an order.
- Payment information: processed by Stripe. Card numbers never reach our servers; we receive only Stripe identifiers for record-keeping.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data: pages visited, features used, browser and device type.
- Log data: IP address, timestamps, and error logs.
- Cookies: for authentication, session, and preferences.
2. How we use information
- To operate the Service and fulfil and deliver reviews
- To authenticate users and process payments and reviewer payouts
- To moderate content and keep the Service safe and strictly SFW
- To send transactional email (order and delivery notifications)
- To prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations
We never use the photos you upload for any dating, romantic, advertising, marketing, or model-training purpose, and we never make them public. They are used only to fulfil your review.
3. Who can see your photos
The photos you upload are private. They are visible only to the reviewer assigned to your order — for the sole purpose of giving you feedback — and to our operations team for moderation and support. They are never listed in a public directory, shown to other users, or shared with third parties except the service providers below who help us operate the Service.
4. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share only:
- With your assigned reviewer: the photos and details needed to complete your review.
- With you (the customer): the completed review, delivered to you privately.
- Service providers: Clerk (authentication), Convex (database and serverless functions), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments and reviewer payouts), Resend (email), PostHog (product analytics), and Sentry (error monitoring). Each operates under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Legal compliance and business transfers: when required by law, or in connection with a merger or sale of assets.
5. Payments and Stripe
Payments and reviewer payouts are processed by Stripe. Stripe's handling of your information is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
6. Data retention
We retain account and order data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your information by emailing hi@photomaxxing.com, subject to legal retention requirements.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or object to the processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at hi@photomaxxing.com.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), managed credential storage, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Age restriction
The Service is restricted to users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact hi@photomaxxing.com and we will delete it promptly.
10. International transfers and changes
The Service may process your information in the United States and other countries, relying on appropriate safeguards. We may update this policy and will post changes at photomaxxing.com/privacy with an updated date.
